We have established our operation in Shanghai, as a wholly dedicated team of AXA Corporate Solutions within Winterthur Insurance (Asia) Limited since 2008.
Winterthur Insurance (Asia) Limited is the first European insurer established in Shanghai since 1997. Winterthur is licensed to provide an extensive range of insurance products ranging from personal insurance packages to commercial insurance for SMEs and tailor-made solutions for large international corporations.
We are available to service attentively and exclusively AXA Corporate Solutions clients, seeking either integrated insurance service management for their operations in China connected with their international programmes, or specific local insurance solutions to protect their assets and development in China .
As a relatively recent operation, we proud ourselves to service a mix of international groups (Foreign Invested Enterprises in China) and national Majors Accounts (States Owned Enterprises / JVs) with the same attention to quality and expertise as other AXA Corporate Solutions platforms worldwide.
As an integrated division of AXA’s fully own local entity, we work in close connection with other AXA’s business units in order to provide an extensive range of insurance products : from industrial and commercial Property, Construction and Liability covers to Health, Travel and Household insurances.
Winterthur’s operations complements well and strengthen AXA’s distribution channels and product range in China, while further increasing AXA’s geographic diversification, by both strengthening AXA’s European franchise and increasing its presence in high growth Asian markets.
